13 hours or so after i went on vacation, i get attacked and loose oh, nearly half of my net. now, why offer a thing like vacation if an empire can still be attacked and pillaged? seems F@%&d up to me. of course, the person who did attack me was an admin...................hmmmmmmmm.................

You must have miscalced. It shows you on vacation now, and you're gone from the attack page...

The fact that I was an admin had nothing to do with it, since I can't attack you now.

*laughs*. i was just saying that i started my "vacation" at around 8 in the morning. someone attacked me...erm, ruddertail...about 13 hours after my account said: your on vacation!! now, it just doesnt make sense to me thats all. why have such a thing?

It shows up as 1900, which would be 1600 PST, 8 hours after the time you went on vacation. I believe you're PST, correct?

Kraken -- Are you absolutely sure 12 hours did elapse? Also, admins can't circumvent vacation.

Ruddertail -- Is he in green on the scores page? Have you tried to attack him since?

Please test this with the utmost urgency.

Yes, he is definately in green, and yes, I cannot attack him. I try filling in his number, and nothing happens.

Kraken's number is 9. I go the attack page, and type in his number where it says

Warband number to attack?

and hit tab. Nothing happens, it doesn't show his name in the box to attack.

I go ahead and launch the attack anyway, and I get a "Cannot attack warbands in protection" message.

He's not shown on the attack page, either. Definately in protection.

OK. The protection string needs to be changed to vacation, but otherwise OK.

[edit] The source code indicates it should say 'vacation', not 'protection'. Are you sure that's what it said?
