The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

Land grabs are part of the game, yes. However standards generally aren't used in land grabs, but as a way to do extra damage to the warband you're attacking. Thus, this many standard attacks does seem to be unusual agression.

Standard attacks can also be used by new people who do not know that it can lead to mega costs.
I used to STD attack all the time

attacking other people for land is a "need to do" to get stronger in the game, you need to use all the land that you can get to build resorces to build you up in the ranks, I actually think that 6 attacks is actually quite weak. for I sometimes attack people more than 12 times in one run. though Standard attacks can hurt more than a frontal or guerilla this guy did not really do much to hurt you

Look at it this way, you had virtually no troops so the STD attacks didn't destroy much, and STD's give you less land than regular attacks so in reality that was the least damaging thing he could do to you. If I was you I'd be happy that he was wasting his turns hitting you with STD's instead of something more efficient.

On the flip side he did attack you a lot of times (30) in a 24 hour period, so you may want to spend a few turns slapping him around a little to make a point, but he's definately a noob so it's not really worth much effort.

Ways to tell he's a noob:

STD attacking someone with no troops and he spends turns as soon as he gets em instead of waiting until he has full turns.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.
