Food is now worth $2.
Is this permerent?
Or is this just for a short time?
And did anyone else notice it?

Noticed it, and mentioned it to Beatles. Apparently, it's staing as is, unless I can convince him to raise it again. Agrarian was a good strat. Possibly overpowered, but a good strat, none the less...

It's still worth good networth. (As Ruddertail asked in the modifications.) You just can't sell it to make ridiculous amounts of cash.

Well, yes, I guess if food is not capped according to upkeep costs, it's still viable. If you don't mind being "Everybody's Favorite Farm".

But if Agrarian has been taken down then that makes indy way overpowered.

Look at it this way, what made the Agrarian strat strong could make Indy overpowered. Now it isn't.

I don't think indy was really overpowered. Once Grumm was dropped, a barracks-forager combo lost some of it's effectiveness at the high levels.

Remember the original forager? Now, that was overpowered.

I miss selling for $14.
Sustained a monster army on something like 80k foragers.

We really should have a topic where we talk about strategy balancing - make a list of common/possible strategies, and try to work within reason to attain an equilibrium[1] between the two.
[1] Too much theoretical Chemistry work in preparations for course finals.

WELL, te new price makes the forraging strat really weak, and that makes the game more boring since u can only use hawking or the indy strat.
i think it would be good to open a new topic and discuss strats

Well, Zeph's topic certainly raises questions. But we must balance it against Rudder's new proposals.
