The new theme is better IMO, mostly because you couldn't gather millions of woodlanders to fight each other. In fact, I think the Rapscallion Horde in the "Long Patrol" book had the biggest army ever, with 1,000 or so troops.

This should be in the other section, right? I've kinda assumed that WoA was already Redwall based. But the other theme is very neat for BFR. I like it overall. I wouldn't for WoA though...not yet.

I wouldn't mind the theme for WOA, but I really would like the keep the traditonal troop numbers, rather then scale them all down. That's fine for BFR (though ships are still insanely small in number), but WOA should stay more traditional.

But Rudder, troop numbers are part of the whole realism aspect of the new theme. :(

(And they're kind of fun that way too! :P )

The large troop numbers were even more unrealistic for the Redwall theme, but nobody complained. And while it does add to the realism of the new theme, it also subtracts the coolness of having 50 billion dollars and 100 million hares.

Personally, I think on WOA there is more to gain by leaving it as it is. If you do scale, maybe scale by 10. This would give you more reasonable armies, while still leaving them large enough to be "cool".

That's just Promi-specific; in other games, troop numbers are more reasonable.
