aid bug: woa

didnt need my hares, was going to send them to rudder

started with 7 mil
went to aid page, put in number 8, clicked the max checkbox, and sent
repeated 4x without realizing I wasnt losing any hares, still had 7 mil (was tired, not paying attention)
assumed they simply werent being sent
just copied and pasted (highlighted and center clicked) the number into the blank and sent for the 5th shipment and it seemed to work fine

asked rudder about the aid, said the main page said he'd gotten 5 mil hares, but only 1.5 mil should have sent, as that's all was subtracted from my amount

but ruddertail isnt sure of his original hare number, so the hares may or may not show up in the total (must be nice not to notice a gain of 5 mil hares

)

either way its a bug
I'll sent another aid shipment with the max checkbox when I get more aid quota to see if rudder's total changes

This bug is gonna get worse real soon when the "War" breaks out. If we can't send aid...

you misread

in this particular case its not that you cant send aid, its that if you use max checkboxes the troops dont get subtracted from your total

so I sent rudder about 4 mil FREE HARES, I didnt lose any!

yeah, this could be a bad thing in a war...

Well, In our case, he sent me hares, but I only got the otters he used to send the hares with... but I'm not sure if he lost any otters or not.

Yeah sure... You have until the war starts so talk to Rudder for a deadline thingy.

I was going to send Nohc hares. It said I could sent about 4 mil hares per trip. I needed about 42,000 otters to send the aid. So, I clicked max on hares and otters. I did it 5 times, but I noticed my net went up... I asked Nohc if he got them, but he said all he got was otters. My hares are missing though, so they went somewhere. I think that is really about it...If I remember more I'll include it. We just did this today.

I think this should be fixed (yes, it was introduced by the BFR code changes). However, it is clear that the game should be perfectly fair in any amount that it sends -- whatever is subtracted from you is added to your ally's troops.

Please test further.

I don't think I got any oitters... and for some reason, my troops are all even... like 112,700,000 and 58,200,000

Anyway, I can't test it because my networth is too high to receive aid.
