Is FAF 2.x, at long last, completely and utterly stable? No bug reports for a long time, and only one in the last few months. I frankly can't think of any other Promisance that can claim complete stability.

This can mean only one thing - we must destabilize it with new and experimental features! :*laughs*:

But, seriously, this is quite an achievement. We've usually been ahead in terms of bugs and security, but never completely free of the occasional error. Either no one is reporting problems, or we have a very mature codebase here!

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

I just put up v3.01 last night for testing so we'll see how that goes. I seem to remember that version had a problem with the factoring but since we opted not to use factoring it won't matter.

Isn't there like 3.03 on SourceForge? In any case, you might want to download http://faf.staronesw.com/faf.zip and do a quick diff of the files. I mean if you're going to be running that for the next few months anyways...

Just the aid bug, but Beatles fixed that a month or two ago. That was the only problem in recent times.

And before Kraken bombards Beatles with requests for the cure I would like to point out that the Aid bug is not to be confused with the AIDS virus. :D

Oh btw Kraken, someone asked me to send her some sick stuff so if you could help me out by refreshing my memory to the worst clips I've sent you that would be great.

EDIT: We should probably do that through a PM or AIM since we have all these youngsters here.

Does anyone think the topic title could also be taken to mean some weird innuendo?

"Are we... stable?"

Hm... What could "stable" be a euphemism for?

Buh? In some obscure way I suppose. Perhaps you need some of Kraken's cheese.

yaR! cheese is a form of stability isnt it? you see, the stinky-er the cheese the more apt it is to form change in those who smell it thusly, causing unstability. but! if the cheese is wholesome and without taint, then it is stable and ready for comsumption.
