Yeah.. now I can build them.. I just need the manpower. Right now every villager I have is eaten by the great gaping maw of my economy. Well the iron mines, lumbermills, and stone quarries anyway. 23 odd thousand people. 200 swordsmen. Two colonies. The rest are working to make me wood stone and iron. That's not even counting the workers in the 2 colonies themselves. That's just my main province. But when I do have time to build an army, which is soon, I have a target for my attack. Much resources. Mwhahaha.

Workers? Your level of farm determins the population limit. SO...If your at the limit, you can't make more people.
If you mean, you want to make more... Then build a granary. That 20% next to the people Icon shows the population growth. Researching Medicine will increase it, but not above 20%. So that only helps for colonies. If you need more help AIM me or something.

People are added based on your current population. Each level of Medicine gives a 5% bonus to population growth in all provinces, so the higher the population growth (including granaries, the more people medicine provides. There's no limit to the level of Medicine you can get. Each level of granary gives a +1 to the basic population growth of your province. Granaries are helpful early on, but they get really expensive in the higher levels. Medicine may not cause much of an increase in pop. growth early on, but it will really help in the long run. Also, hiring soldiers takes population, and disbanding soldiers gives them back. Once you get really high populations, population growth slows, but that's not for a long time.

What's the gold production rate for villagers not working in the lumbermills or whatever? Cause I have 118 soldiers currently oustide my fortress. And 400 in the fortress, so it's full. So I need to know what they make, because I need to know if I'm net losing or net gaining gold.
And I got shredded recently. 23 thousand total resources taken when someone sacked my fortress. But I just built a bunch of new soldiers and many more are on the way. I'm gonna go a pillaging. Or maybe seige a fortress. Gonna have about 2000 in total in about 16 hours. Prolly gonna make alot more too.
How many provinces do you have Nohc?

100 free people = 1 gold per hour I think.
EDIT: Btw...Urran is really close to me. So once he gets up and going...we can team up. You two are close, so help eachother out in terms of attacking. I don't think I can for a while anyway...

For the worker to gold thing, it's in the guide... Either way, I just let my gold go negative and sell resources when I need to attack or build something.
I just got enough spearmen to colonize my fourth province. I had to use them attacking and stuff yesterday, and didn't quite have 500 of one kind.
Fortress seiges can be much more profitable than pillaging... pillaging is more for weakening someone else, and seiging is for benefitting you the most. I've found that 15 battering rams is usually enough for a level 3 fortress (half that for level 2, and half that for a level 1). If you don't have tactics (which is fine, battering rams alone aren't much more effective than swordsmen, plus they can't even defend), I think you'll need about 75 swordsmen for each battering ram. Spearmen can damage walls, but they'll probably all die if the enemy has any archers in their fortress. After a couple battles you'll figure out what works and what doesn't, and don't kill me if you have 1000 swordsmen go up against a level 3 fortress and lose. XD

*laughs*. Alright. I'll remember that. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do first. Probably pillage the guy who sacked my fortress, and then go build a few battering rams and siege this guy I've had my eye on for awhile.
Freen, I'm not all that close to Nohc... I'm real far away from either of you actually.
Is that a fourth province including your initial on or a fourth new province for 5 total provinces?

Four provinces total... My next goal is to get another level of Centralization (which costs a bundle: Wood - 17280, Iron - 2160, Stone - 8640, Gold - 41040). Then I'll have 5 provinces and all I need after that is another level of tactics to get Heavy spearmen.
I don't think any of us are very close at all. During clan wars is the only time we'll probably be ganging up one someone. Oh, and make sure you remember to use Espionage to find a good target... just do a fortress seige if you find someone with a low level fortress and a good amount of resources.

*Nod* Will do. And yeah, you and me are about 1.5k miles apart, me and Freen are like 2k miles apart. Or maybe km, not sure. I've got 3 total provinces right now. Just lost a field battle to this dude who sacked the fortress in one of my provinces. Was trying to pillage him, but ran into his whole army.
