The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.

*Points to Solar System* Once we start to move around, she'll heal up just fine. We just need to make sure that she can heal up and not kill her in the process of getting into space.

That made no sense.
My point is, we are continually polluting the world at a rate faster than mother nature can handle. This is not about global warming; this is about having safe drinking water and air 20-30 years in the future. And, of course, the silver bullet of space travel will fix everything! And, dare I ask, what if this IS the only planet we get? What if this is our only chance, and we have to make the most of it?
But, you know what? Whatever. Neither of us is going to get anywhere. All this is going to do is cause hard feelings. You "win". Heh.
Let's all have a nice cup of tea. Or light American piss-beer, your choice.
