Hey, Nohc and I signed up at Travian http://www.travian.com/. Were thinking of doing something kind of like the imperia thing, before that fizeled. Set up an alliance/clan. We couldn't call it FAF, or anything, because we'd want more then one a few people, but we could say that it's a clan whose core is made up of players from FAF, (link) A text based strategy game. etc etc etc...

If you're interested, sign up on server seven. It's a time based thing, like imperia.

Teutons are good for early game raiding. If you want to get right out to raiding, they're your tribe. Their power comes from cheap troops, but food costs and the more powerful troops of other tribes will start to catch up with them later in the game.

Gauls are a good defensive tribe. Their power lies in their cavvy. More middle to late game power, Teutons will dominate early.

Romans are another mid to late game power. They rely on building up a strong econemy and pumping out the strongest troops in the game. Their troops are expensive, but their infantry is the best power/food out their, and their cavvy, while both expensive to build and to feed, isn't half bad either. As the game guide says, "Power has got it's price".

My experience is mostly with Romans, but I have a little experience with Teutons now, as both Nohc and I are playing them. I'd be happy to give tips to any who sign up and play.

Er, Nohc's on 7. I was too, but the darn thing just takes up way to much of my life... It's like an addiction. Only way to beat it is to avoid the thing completely. Sorry guys... I was going to try to do it in moderation, but it's just all I think about, or care about...
