You forget that Christians -- or rather, those calling themselves that, although they were as far from Christ's flock as anything -- had for the better part of a half-millenium kept populations in ignorance, tortured those who did not agree with their views, and wage bloody wars upon Islam. So are all Christians warmongering bloodthirsty murderers? In the same way, not all Muslims are terrorists who want to obliterate everything non-Islamic.

You assume, you assume. Go 'long with your assumptions. If you assert something, the burden of proof is on you, bear it up with fact, not assumptions.

You two stated that Europe is under an Islamic threat. So try to find evidence for it instead of blindly repeating a belief based on sod all.

Your first comement is true. But, Christians have cleaned up their image from those days. And there are still Christians who want to kill all non-believers. There are some with every religion. Its just right now, Islam has the highest %.

I'll dig up some "evidence" later. How about you put your on the table, or remind us of your reasons.

1. So if Islam has the highest percentage (which is only true if you consider "main-stream" religions, we should automatically assume bad intent of all Arabic people (ethnic discrimination) or Islamic people (theic descrimination)?

1: I will say that I do not agree that a Muslim minority is a good thing. Any religion in time becomes a bad thing.

2: Do we assume that all Christians are school shooters? Or drunk drivers? Or child molestors? Or warmongers? I fully agree with you, Christians have cleaned up their image. Unfortunately it's their act that requires the most work.

3: Palestine (where Israel, West Bank, Gaza Strip, Jordan, and part of the Golan Heights is now) became a part of the British Empire as a result of WW1. During th2 1920's Jews began immigrating there (with few exceptions the Jews only allowed other Jews to immigrate) and buying up all the land and forbidding non-Jews from leasing, living, or working on the land they bought. At first the Arabs didn't say much, but as more and more Jews began migrating tensions started flaring. During this time violent attacks were made by both sides, prompting the British to declare Jewish and Arab groups as terrorist organizations.

During the late 30's Jewish immigration escalated after Nazi Germany started expelling them. This led to an increase in tensions which the Husseini clan used to start the "Arab Revolt" which superficially was agaist the Jews, but in reality was an excuse for them to eradicate other Arab clans. (they even ended up killing more Arabs than Jews)

The British banned Jewish immigration into Palestine, who responded by assasinating the British Minister of State. This is supposedly what turned Churchill against Zionism. After the war Britain still refused to allow Jews to immigrate to Palestine, so the Jews resorted to using terror. After a few years of that the Brits finally decided it wasn't worth it and gave up their mandate over Palestine. The UN decided to split the land up into multiple states, giving 55% of the land to the Jews, who still only had a third of the population, and 45% of the land to the Arabs who had about two thirds of the population. Unsurprisingly the Jews were overjoyed at the land division, and the Arabs felt shafted.

Our equivalent would be if the Mexicans started buying up our land and forbidding any non-Mexicans from working or living on it, started bombing us, assasinated a couple of our leaders, and the government reward them by giving them everything west of the Mississippi.

I agree with mostly everything except the historical basis. It would be sort of like if the Native Americans started forming blocks outside of reservations, suicide bombings in big cities, etc. Because, they used to live there. And, truth told, I wouldn't disagree with them if they did so (although I wouldn't support them either).

Look at my historical comparison from the other side. My comparison was of the Arabs as Americans and the Jews as Mexicans.

I understood. But the ancestors of Mexicans haven't largely lived in that area for a long time. Most of the population is derived from European (Spanish) and Central American stock.

Above picture is the King David Hotel, this building housed the British government in Palestine. A Jewish terrorist organization (Irgun) had members dress up as Arabs and bomb the place. This will come as a surprise to nobody but the Christian Right, but the terrorist organization known as Irgun later became known as the Israeli Defense Force. Then there's the Jewish terrorist organization Lehi. It should be noted that this group was ran at one point by Yitzhak Shamir whom you may remember as one of Israel's Prime Ministers. The PM job came after he ran the terrorist organization.

Lehi conducted small-scale operations such as assassinations of British soldiers and police officers and, on occasion, Jewish "collaborators". Another strategy, (1947) was to send bombs in the mail to many British politicians. Other actions included sabotaging infrastructure targets: bridges, railroads, and oil refineries. Lehi financed their operations from private donations, extortion, and bank robbery.
