Listen Wolf. I don't know you. I don't play RWL. You talk about how you shouldn't come into someones house and start a fight. Yet you have. Then you justify that by saying its alright that you did because you percieve it being done on RWL. I just have to wonder... is it just you that percieves it this way, or does the whole community at RWL - the FaFers see it that way.

I don't want an explination... I've gotten mine and you've made you poor and sorry point. Now, If your going to keep dragging this on, I will close the topic as I have had enough of this sorry nonsence.

The fact is that our entire staff has kept requesting the F&F ambassadors to stop what in our opinion they are violating our rules. But they seem not to respect. Is asking for respect, such as you just did, such a bad thing?

Lets say, for example, that someone came onto your site from a different site for the pure and only reason to post something meant to degrade your site. For example, what if they said:

As one of the admins of this site, let me respond to this. I've just gotten here. We've had situations like that before and maintained a consistent policy.

Any flaming that does not involve swearing is looked at, but NOT edited/blocked/locked and does not result in any actions against the user. If it's uncalled-for, we may remove some karma, but that influences nothing. If it's repeated and uncalled-for, we may ignore it but nothing besides.

The only things that result in an edit or block are obscene material and very heavy repeated swearing.

Let me help you out and catch you up a bit. In the first post I made a statement which had many meanings. Some of those meanings were within the rules of this forum and some were not. Thus I was on the line between good member and evil flame.

Your statement was entirely within our rules, don't twist the truth please. As has been stated repeatedly, only obscenity or swearing will be edited. Your statement was ultimately not edited (censored), merely provoked some heated discussion. Neither was your right (given by us) to speak freely here compromised.

Oh by the way Freen, no closing topics under any circumstances. I slipped up on this point a month or so back but Devari corrected me.

Yes Beatles. Our rules are much the same, despite how unhappy we may sometimes be when the thin line is used. But then this topic is really about respect for the authority of a different person’s personal property. I really don’t know how many times requests to stop has to be done before people get the idea. Look at the list of requests just in one topic that have been made. Then think how many topics have be posted on this over the years about the same thing. Would this not amount to spam, flame and outright rejection of the rules of a different site?

Well, I would agree with you except that many of those so-called olive branches were disingenuous as the people making the statements were doing quite the same thing... Again I think we are talking about two different things.

I am talking about the irritation and disrespect to constantly keep making posts on a different server about a discussion that server has considered closed for years now.

You on the other hand bring up the argument again from years ago. You even have a ton of links from RWL where it was discussed by you including poems you made about it, You even have it in your sig on our site. Your opinion has been well stated and repeatedly so. Thanks for proving this point by the links you offer.

The issue at hand is not about the code, but about constantly making posts about a 2-year-old subject. At what point does such actions become spam. At what point is it to be considered deliberate to try to belittle a fellow site?

My questions here as how F&F would handle the same thing being done here has stayed in one topic. I have not made a ton of topics about it. I have not posted in other topics to bring attention to it again. Such actions would be disruptive and off topic. I am sure F&F would not think it so nice.

What is wrong with me asking for the same consideration?

Sorry, I had forgotten about that. I was trying to stop the roaring fire over at RWL from jumping the stream to FAF.

Urran... there's so much history here that's being dug up and rehashed.. you can read the topic that blew on the glowing coals and restarted this fire, but it would explain very little. You can join in if you want, but I would suggest you stay out of it.

And wolf, who was the first one to really attack anyone on either site or the sites themselves? I would really like to know what provoked that post from you, and what you viewed as insults, cause I honestly don't see anything that should have insulted one that much until after that post of yours. I am really curious. I keep looking at it and looking at it, and while dev and bjorn were prolly being more aggressive than they needed to be, it seem like they weren't actually trying to insult you, the admins, or RWL.

It really seems no one is listening. As I come here to ask for people to stop spaming our site with an issue long since dead in topics that have nothing to do with the dead issues, Beatles again asks the same question. Over and over and over and over and over …..

The reason Beatles is talking about "long dead" events is because YOU brought it up. You were the first to mention Beatles exploitation of the bug/hacking/whatever you want to call it in that topic. So is it any surprise when he responds?

General, my dear friend, sorry you think I am hiding from your points. All that education I spent the big bucks for teaches to go to issues and sub issues. People must read my posts slower and assume I am not heated, but making points based on reasonable thinking. I saw your points as being off topic.

Lets use an example. The discussion of whether the KKK has a right to exist and whether they are right in their thinking are 2 complete different issues. The word KKK may be used in both discussions.

Here the issue is not whether anyone is a felon. The issue is not whether a code should be released. The issues is not who started a fight.

The issues are simply forum rules and mutual respect. I asked how would FAF handle a situation. I was able to point out that there can be times when a person can keep reusing the same kindness of a sites rules to come to the point where they are breaking them. I pointed out that some people from here are doing that on the RWL site. I asked for them to stop. Still they insist they have the right to be disruptive because they don’t think it is disruptive. Frankly not the guest’s decision as to what is unwelcome. A guest in your home does not spit on the floor because they don’t think you should mind.

Let me use an example. Lets say I decide this site would look better if they used the same shade yellow as my fir. I then asked the staff, who rejected it. I then made posts, where I was over ruled. I made more posts, got other people to make posts. I went to outside people to try to force the use of yellow. I then brought it up in every topic I could see in hopes to switch a perfectly good topic to my argument about the color yellow. In fact, the only time I would even visit this site would be to make posts about the color yellow. At what point is this just plan a nuisance?

This is the topic I started. Sure if people want to make a different one about codes or felons, go ahead, but lets keep on tract here. Or if you feel this topic is really about other things, I can open a new one speaking directly to the points and issues I have just stated.
