Hahaha. I love how they whine and blame Arthus and crap afterwards. Someone needs to seriously ban them over there for like... a while. xD

Death that is just not true. We have a IP tracker that tracks account logins and 3 accounts were played from the same IP address within 3 minutes. The TF account was one of them. Activity such a this is deemed suspect and accounts are flagged automatically because of this. Normally what happens after that is the accounts which are flagged will post in the forums pleading their case, but that never happened. Everyone else posted on the disabled accounts behalf which makes things look even more suspicious. When you have a game that has 131 active players and a hall of shame of 76, you adopt a zero tolerance policy with multi's.Death wrote: Wow nevermind, the Admin decided to disable someone while he was gathering land, so that means all of the land is on Borg and disabled empires. Hmm, I didn't know about the timeframe. But, TF is a legend, he has been around sicne Promisance was based on D&D, and as far as I know has never even been accused of cheating by anyone. Plus he uses AOL, and as I explained AOL users usually share IPs. But I'm glad this is sorted out.
And yeah, I know, I have the same policy at PP.
btw you really need to fix that no hitlimit thing.

Perhaps you need a few minor admins to help sort out the junk?Turock wrote:Death that is just not true. I just checked and the hit limits are still as they should be, 31.
Over the past year and a half we have had 4 admin helpers, all of them used their powers to cheat. That creates a problem that is greater than the original problem, *laughs*. Oh well.
On a side note I handed out a few perma-bans in the forums today.

*laughs*. Get someone who doesn't play there. That solves the main problem.Turock wrote: I just checked and the hit limits are still as they should be, 31.

I hate to say it but it's actually quasi-rare to have a non-cheating admin. Definately less than half have been honest throughout, with some being much more flagarant than others.
About your bug, I know for a fact it did occur in AoL yesterday but as you say it is now registering properly. I'll keep my eyes open for any kind of anamoly.

Yeah, me and some friends from WGZ hit another friend well over 100 times testing it, and *cough* someone did a kill without clanning up this morning.

Haha, well that's probably gonna work better than my method, I was gonna figure out the occasional hit limit bug and exploit it to stop the forum bitching. Just tell everyone that anyone who continues the bitch fest dies the next day.
