Sevah got me to sign up for Free For All so I messed around a bit, and I found something that in my opinion may be worth looking into, it may be a feature that is a bit strong. Then again, maybe not.

Okay so I have no idea what you guys call it, I'll just call it Pillage because it has basically the same function as Pillage from Valhall Strategy (steals cash and food, and destroys some buildings). As far as I can tell all you need to be able to do is break anyone with one unit (correct me if I'm wrong, my entire suggestion is based around this).

Doesn't that seem a bit strong to you? The potential the attack has makes me think it should be a little harder to do. Like, maybe base it around a Standard Attack instead of any type of attack (meaning you will need enough units to break them with an STD in order to take their food or cash) or even make it a little harder than an STD.

Also, you could nerf GTs a bit and add a new function, have them lessen the amount taken by "Pillage". That's another story though.

That's a very good point, thanks for pointing it out. On the other hand, it's fairly consistent with the game dynamics as they stand right now. I don't like the proposal of std-only (as it is still weak against aiding from a mager to an indy), but if it's the best obviously we'll adopt that. So please post suggestions in this topic.

You mean an Indy can still get too much from a Mage? Well we fixed that at Valhall, but I don't know if you guys want to copy it, but it was a damn good fix.

There you get a certain amount, but you only manage to carry a certain percent of the goods back to your empire.

To address one part of your suggestion, we are planning on greatly reducing the amount that sacking takes. I can't remember exactly by how much, but I think it is to be about 1/10th of what it is now.
