Why not just change it to what the old slow server was called? Conquest of Generals...

edit: On second thoughts, that may not go well with the theme :\

At Valhall its really simple like Classic Battle and Vintage, maybe something simpler would be easier and better.

"The Battle for the Mediterranean" should be alright. Seeing as North Africa, the Near East, and Europe are all centered around the Med.

Then it's just BFM instead of BFR.

Just leaving out "the", as it usually is when one is creating an acronym. BtfM works to though I guess.

"Age" sounds too long. I like Volkov's better. Including Mediterranea is the way to go.

Here's some variations: Clash of Mediterranea (COM), Clash of the Mediterranean (COM)?

COM - Conquest Of (the) Mediterranean, perhaps, Volkov? All - caps acronyms are better, and three letter > four.

Conquest implies a longer campaign, that's why I suggested Clash.

I really like the "Clash" bit. Another idea might be Clash of the Ancients, although I'm not sure if that is any better than COM...

Clash sounds too short, and is too Hollywood, at least to me. Clash of the Ancients sounds way to close to "Clash of the Titans".
