Ghost empires?

Okay, I was playing that really gay test server, and there was this empire, Minescule 225. He had a low land mass, and I decided, "I think I will finally kill this little guy off"

So I get ready to attack him, I select him in my drop down list of targets in the war center, and strike with spies. Bam

That empire is already dead

Confused, I go back to the score list, and the empire is no longer there, but it was just moments earlier. It and its 300 or so acres, gone. I doubt it was marked for deletion, it was too sudden, that right when I attacked it, it would be dead.

Maybe a minor bug in that system...

Heh. What do you mean by the test server being gay?

Anyway, two explanations come to mind:

One, the cron killed him.

Two, he had been signed on and deleted.

Neither is unreasonable. The last attack was at 5:22, but I don't know if that was by you or not.
