Prices max out at a certain point. I just heard that academy is going to be changed to a conversion of workers to leaders, which will seriously reduce its power.
As of now however, the only ay to take out a stoat is to suicide leaders while his ratio is lowest (at full land) and then use the "open atk op" spell, that unmaxes them by 3. Again, there is no equivelent here, and it gives leader fighters another big boost. Like I said, leader fighters have all the power in RWL, and a leader farmer is incredibly difficult to beat. There is a way to balance all this, it just hasn't been foudnd yet. We will see how the changes to academy affect it.

They do. Martens get "Goldmine" which is double the output of the normal loot spell. Wolf gets a bonus to loyalty production and get an "Enrich" spell with massively increases the amount of food you can get from feasting. There are several others as well, problem is, they only partially compensate. Stoat is still much more powerful than any of them, because it just makes so many leaders. They make almost as much money as Goldmine, with much less cost in loyalty, they make as much or more food than the Wolf, with less cost in loyalty, and the extra leaders also allow them to produce more loyalty than Wolf. The only thing they can't beat is the Wildcat's "Pressgang" spell, which just makes ridiculous amounts of troops. But with the amount of money a stoat can throw around, they can buy enough off the BM to offset the wildcats troop production. Basically, the only time stoat doesn't dominate is when they have a pure indy round and leaders aren't in the game.Do other races get any special abilities to compensate for stoats academy spell?
Preventing storing isn't an issue really. Actually, storing would be beatable, since you could just buy the storers troops or food.
What shadow described. Suicide runs, with two people working in tandem. You can demolish any mage with it. If it's two stoats, you just wait to be attacked. That raises your ratio above the otehr guy, and you can murder/poison him down to a reasonable NW. This only works if you are attacked and he is not though. So what's the best ways to take out a rival mage on that code? I'm sure onlining them works wonders, anything else?
It's semi-abusable, but the time it takes for something to go to the market and the small portion of total army you can stick on the market cuts way down on that. But you'd have to be able to keep the cash so you could buy his troops, and given the game environment, that cash is likely to be stolen more often than not.BTW being able to choose who you buy from can be abuseable as well, I can have a friend play as a solo reseller and once he's at his perfect ratios he can sell troops on the PM for uberly high prices which I can buy as a means of sending him cash. Essentially allowing me to FA him cash no matter how big he is net-wise.

Thank you. Been wondering how to calcualate leader missions without knowing the scaling
I like the "effective missions" field in espy reports. There should be one of those in RWL..
Is there any special reason that we can't store troops in smaller increments? Having everything jumbled into one big pile makes it difficult if you ever need fast troops and don't want to lose a ton removing your whole army.
