and Popov: you really think that the Colts are on the same level as these guys?
Kraken, I would think that you would have changed your tune after watching the Pats-Colts game. The Colts are OBVIOUSLY on the same level as the Patriots, seeing as how they only lost by 4 points and had the lead for over half the game.

The Colts right now would probably get crushed by the Pats, seeing as they are without 3 great recievers and Bob Sanders. Dwight Freeney is out for the season as well. These injuries are why they lost to San Diego and got a tough win against the Chiefs. Give them a few weeks to get healthy, and they'll be right back where they were, and I will bet cold hard cash that the AFC championship will be the Colts vs. the Patriots. It will be a close game and I think the Colts will win.

well....think all you want!

just kidding man...i see your point. i just happen to think that the Patriots are like, from outerspace or something for the way that they are playing and Brady, should he get his fourth Superbowl ring, that would put him up there in the greats of all time.

here is a interesting link from yahoo sports:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=A ... &type=lgns
it gives a breakdown week by week on two commentators opinions (Jason Cole and Charles Robinson) and this week kinda suprised me. (mostly because this is the first week i ever checked it :P)

but! the top four, because they each have seperate rankings, are the Patriots, Cowboys, Packers and Colts...and not neccesarily in that order btw. check it out.

I dunno, yeah it's 4 rings, but they were close victories. If you look at what Montana did and what Brady has done, I still don't think they are quite comparable. Plus, modern QB's pass a lot more. But it would put him up there, maybe not at the tip top, but certainly in the top 5 greatest. As for the Pats, well, they are playing well, but injuries could decimate them the same as any team. The Colts could run up the score like that if they were healthy and wanted too. Personally I think it says something about the sportsmanship of Belichick, the way he leaves Brady in for most of the game.

Interesting link though.

I just keep praying the Pats will be up about 55-0 against the Dolphins and Brady will suffer a career ending injury. Or they'll be down 55-0 and he suffers it, or it's tied, or it's in warm-ups, or whatever.

I don't pray that, but it would serve the Patriots right if that were to happen.

why would it serve them right?
what kind of malicious feelings do you have towards a football team that would cause you to feel such a way?

Because what the Patriots are doing is unsportsmanlike, and it would serve them right is Brady got hurt while he was out there running up the score. It's complete and utter BS for them to still have starters in and running a passing offense in the fourth quarter when they are ahead by more than 30 points.

Nice job by Farve though.

alrighty!
what a week eh?

first off, how about them Eagles? If they had been playing like they did last night all season; they would of been better off by far this late into the season...
but! a win is a win, and the Pats are now 13-0....with tougher tests yet to come...

ShOCkerS?:
well, Cincinatti beating the cow piss out of Tennessee for starters. wtf happened there? The Vikings whooping the Giants...wtf?!? and the 49er's beating the Cardinals...!!

The Tampa Bay Bucs are looking perty darn sharp however, wouldnt everyone agree?
and cheers to Nuke for his Raiders getting a win :D

Thanksgiving games: The Packers v/s Lions was actually a very good game and for awhile there: i thought the Lions were going to come back.
The Dallas v/s Jets: pttttth!
The Colts v/s Falcons: not a bad game and hopefully will give some spirit back to the Colts.

Sean Taylor was shot in his home early this morning. I've heard that it was in the abdomen and also that it narrowly missed the femoral artery (which is in the thigh and is extremely vulnerable) In any case he was airlifted to a hospital and is in critical condition.

Kraky, last time I checked the Pats are now 11-0. :P The Eagles gave them a good run. Good week for me to face off against Tom Brady in Fantasy considering it's his first week with less than 3 TD passes. (He only threw 1)

I thought the Cardinals were going to finish strong but after yesterday's game I'm not sure. My only question is how can you lose the game with 484 yards passing?

How bout them Vikes though, huh? We really put the beat down on them Giants... 3 INTS returned for TDs what a day.

I really hope Green Bay beats Dallas this Thursday...

One last thing:
QUIT KICKING TO DEVIN HESTER!
It ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

ROFL! Hester is the MAN. Once he gets into the clear, he doesn't just turn on the jets, he turns on the Saturn V rocket engine. I don't think I've ever seen someone as fast as he is. And of course his ability to make people miss and get into the clear is just incredible. 26 games, and he is 3 return TD's away from the all time record. Nuke, you say he's been mediocre on kickoff, I must disagree. He doesn't have many returned kickoffs this year, but that's cause it's a rare team who will actually kick to him. Most of the time they kick it short and the Bears get the ball on like the 50. Giving the Bears the ball on the 50 is still the better option though. Cause if you kick to Hester, he'll do what he did to the Broncos last night, and burn you for two returned TD's in one game. He was nearly half the Bears offense. Whereas if you give it to the Bears actual offense, they don't tend to do that much with it. Last second heroics notwithstanding, the Bears offense did basically nothing the whole game.

My shocker was the Bears winning though. The Broncos are a good team in a tough division.

Colts blew out the Falcons, pretty much what I expected. They are only missing Harrison now. Gonzalez had a breakout game though. I hope to see much more of him in the weeks to come.

I would agree about the Bucs, and good job to Oakland.

Bear down, Chicago Bears!

Oh and...
Cheer cheer for old Notre Dame,
Wake up the echoes cheering her name,
send a volley cheer on high,
shake down the thunder from the sky...

ND won it's final 2 games, and showed some pretty massive improvement on offense. Granted they were playing Duke and Stanford, but it's still nice to go out on a win. I think if we go 7-5 next year, and win a minor bowl game, Charlie will keep his job. I'm hoping for national championship of course, but I think that's a few years off yet.

Well phooey. Mizzou and the Mountainers lost as well. Looks like freaking Ohio State is going to the championship AGAIN. The Big Ten is such a weak-ass conference. It just ain't right. Ohio State needs to play more teams outside the Big Ten.

Sean Taylor died of his wounds BTW.

Favre got hurt? Thought he might.

Well!
the BCS Championship will be played between LSU and Ohio State!
is that a great matchup? well, i am happy that an SEC team is representing, but are these two the two top team?
hmmm...
i happen to think that Virgina Tech should be up there instead of one or the other and ranked #1 as well.
damn, the NCAA needs a playoff system...grrrr
Tennessee will be going to the Orange Bowl agianst Wisconsin. geez3
here is a link to all of the BCS games: http://collegefootball.rivals.com/conte ... CID=746757
goodsite.

NFL!

well, will the Pats go unbeaten with a win tonight agianst the Ravens?
we will have to wait and see...

ShoOCKers!
How about the RAIDERS nuke? beating a far better team, the team being Denver, and now they are on a roll! next week: the Packers come to town and if you get to watch that game...i will envy you forever.
Buffalo beat Washington...wtf?

The Rams defeat of the Falcons should show just how bad the Falcons are going down the drain.
and who would of thought that the Jets would not only of beat the horrid Dolphins: but freaking rape them. *laughs*. its terrible eh?
