Random cash?

In the middle of my run on WoA, roughly 4 billion appeared on my account in the middle of attacking somsone. I had not sold anything worth that, so there is no explanation as to where it came from.

That'd be my suspicion. What time did it happen and were there any sales timestamped 1 hour earlier?

I emptied out my bank account at the start of my run. Also, for 4 billion to appear that implies that I had 40billion in my account, which I definitely did not.

Not necessarily. This is probably due to the changes. Two ideas regarding savings were implemented with them:

-If you run turns and gain interest over the maximum allowed within savings, that amount is instead transferred to your on-hand cash each turn.
-Any savings over the maximum are leaked at 10% per hour.

The former was my initiative, enacted to reduce the occurrence of the latter. It's likely the culprit.

I had 0 cash in my account. I took it out before I ran. There was no interest gained.

Well, that certainly makes things interesting. Barring aid, selling, interest, attacking for cash/embezzling, and producing cash, I'd certainly be at a loss to explain its presence. That said, I've learned to certainly not discount possible bugs.

As with any unexplained phenomenon, post here again if it reoccurs, so that we might better understand when this does and does not happen, and help narrow-down the culprit.

You can rule it all out:

I havent receieved any aid yet this round
The last thing I sold was valued at 1 billion and it happened a full day before my run
interest has been covered
i attacked for land only

It happened soon after I sold some food to the bazaar if that could have anything to do with it. I definitely did not sell 4 billion worth, though. Several hundred million dollars worth at most.

Adding on to that. My guess is you didn't check your news per se, or assumed it was treasury stuff. So you just negated the news. So, when you pulled your bank, you did so without realizing the numbers, thinking it was the same. Then you noticed that you had 4bil and it freaked you out. lulz.

Give me a little credit for intelligence... I went through everything I could think of before posting, including sales. The 4 billion you found was from clan market sales, meaning Ruddertail was the one who bought it, and he was not online when I ran. Here's a timeline for you:

So. You're telling me. That you took 2 bil out. And ended up giving 4 bil back? I can't find anything that would do that. My guess is that you did something and made money. Sold food, I don't know. You musta goofed a bit, because 4 bil is nothing once you get rolling.

I'm thinking this is just player error. 4 bil is too small. If it was 30 bil or something, I'd say we have a problem.

I'm not insulting your intelligence Shadow, its just easy to miss stuff sometimes. Kinda liek that time I did a run on BFR using the admin account. <<
