In the development panel of the board, one you can't see. There's a heated debate between a few of us, that the cT is overpowered and broken.

The arguments range from the cT being used to give empires free aid (Taking first with tons of land and being fed money/food/runes through it) to others saying thats normal game mechanics. It stems off people saying the cT is an emergency fund in case you have a bad run, or get pounded.

So! What do you think about it? Is the cT too powerful and really just an abuse of the "true" purpose of the system?

The CT was created to help empires, not to be a safe source of cash. It is being used as a safe place to keep cash as opposed to its' intended purpose, so I would say that's pretty clearly abuse.

Death and I are the main proponents of the "Clan Treasury is abusable" side. Allow me to inform you of what our proposed SOLUTION is.

We propose that each player be able to make 2 CT transactions per day and that the capacity (and the capacity of the bank as well) be reduced. Counterbalancing this, sack has been heavily nerfed and is now affected by shields.* We are not proposing that the CT be removed; instead, we are say that a clan should not be able to stash all its resources away or transfer unlimited amounts of resources fluidly across accounts.

We really don't think our idea is all that unreasonable.

* Exact numbers for new sack: 2-3% unshielded, 1.33%-2% shielded. This is down from something like 10-15%.

It should be mentioned that it's not like it's set in stone, it's just that the only complaints we see are pretty counterproductive. Suggestions to improve upon the suggestion are always welcome.

...I want to hear opinions before they read the suggestion. Because if there is a general consensus that somethings wrong, THEN the suggestion is valid.

Isnt the clan treasury like a war chest governments put aside food, cash resources in a war chest for that sort of purpose the clan treasury is simply the same principle, what could be done however is if an clan completely kills off another clan then that clan should gain the resources from the clan they killed treasury much the same as an army would gain axxs to a war chest if they took over another country.
I'm not mad just the rest of the world is MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

No, the Clan Treasury was designed to be an emergency fund for a clan on a day to day basis or in times of war.

If transfers are a problem... Simply make the capacity massive (so it can still be used as a warchest) and add a lag time for goods to be transfered to the treasury. That way, you can't simply pass unlimited resources around in the middle of a run, but you do have the stash, and you can use it to move goods around in a strategic sense.

They're nerfed already in a test server, I'm quite satisfied with the current numbers. I'm not sure about the exact % but it's great, I'll get them.

@Freen: Why not include the suggestion? An alternative to compare things to helps when deciding how you feel about something.

@Bjorn: I dunno, instant transfer is a good thing for the emergency mid-run supply function. I prefer just limiting the overall size and the number of transactions/day - it remains quite functional as a reserve that way, while preventing its (ab)use as a resource hideaway/unlimited aid vehicle.

Furthermore, if sack is too powerful even THEN, there's always the idea that's been kicking around of making it Standard Attack-only. I think 1.33%-2% is low enough, though.

Shieling and unshielded applies to mage sacking, I'm referring to troop sacking, though if it's only gonna be 1-2% then thats fine.

We added 1/3rd shielding to sack.
