Is the defense boost from towers added into the DP total listed in the status page?

Does anyone know the exact numbers for how much defense each tower gives and how mant T1 are needed to power it? I've heard everything from 100 to 100,000.

For 25k, at 500, it's 12.5 mil T1. Maybe a tad low, but if you're spreading your defense, it's enough.
