That doesn't make sense at all, you should have to stay top, that's always been how it was before in the old days anyway...

That's nearly impossible here, where the only real net you can get is from troops. To stay on top while still making a profitable run like that I would have to be almost entirely land net during my runs. Or a truly ridiculous amount of food. Which I could try to do, but it will probably take well over a month of landlock

I have never heard of an emp having to stay on top during runs, and I don't think anyone else has either. Everyone disagrees about the rules, though. I personally think that pure net isn't enough, that landlock should be a requirement as well, but meh.

For now, I am running on the definition of emp as someone who is on top at all times except during runs, for a total of 10 days. I am locking land for it because that's basically the only way I can keep it up while still running profitably. If, after that period (assuming I make it), people still don't acknowledge my achievement, I will try to continue and do it by your definition. Otherwise I'll just release the land then.

I did it by both definitions, but according to windy, only the second way counted. If you drop out of first during runs, the clock restarts. Otherwise I wouldn't have spent nearly a month on top of WoA, locking land.

Hrm, alright. This will take longer than I thought. And considering I'm going away to Europe soon, it might have to wait.

EDIT: My run today happened without going below first. On the 21st I claim my "top for 10 days" title and ill see about the rest later.

Well, in about 12 hours I'll have been on top for 10 days without any aid from anyone. In 6 days I'll be emp by the official definition assuming Volkov doesn't manage to mass enough T4 to do some damage... A big thank you to the guy who put 125k T4 on the market at 100k each
