Hm, does anyone feel like making a list of urgent things that need to be addressed, and then try to get together a Duels round? Could invite RWL for old time's sake.

I'm willing to be the impartial admin for it, since I haven't played Promi in so long that I'd be absolute crap.

Yeah, but its nothing that can be just touched up. We're talking some deep code stuff here. The idea was to kinda remove almost all of the changes we've made recently to get to where we have been with this historical setting. Then we were going to implement a new system that included different features. I'm not sure how much the duals server is effected by most of the changes, it might be fine.

Either way, we'll need to make sure that land grabs are as bountiful as they once were and that we can actually kill stuff like we all used too.

...right. I didn't play through the landlocked era, so I forgot about those changes. I'm not the one who added that stuff, so I'm not sure if there are config switches to turn it on/off. I know that the troop scaling, at the very least, can be returned to the original level. Except, perhaps, for the 4th troop.

No, those were hard-coded in. In order to fix otters, we'd need to reduce the price of the unit by I think 100x and also increase the amount you own by the same, while reducing their power down to 6/7 again or something.

I might do this today, Hell, Will if you're around, IM me on AIM or Skype or something and we can do it together.

In all seriousness, the ratios are perserved and anyone who buys boats like mad will essentially just rack up minimal net as it should be. I'm tired of this crazy boat junk. Also changing the unit names later today hopefully.
