I just found out quite accidentally right now that news condensation wasn't working. If you attacked several times for example, the troop losses would only show the last numbers. (That is, for dev.)
Are you guys really not paying attention on the dev server? This is a HUGE bug. Yet nobody noticed until now?

Meh, I think I might have noticed that. Don't know why I didn't report it, maybe I thought it might just be a passing thing, and left it. I don't play Dev anymore, Slasher's kinda dominating compleatly.

You shouldn't play for the game, but for the testing... otherwise we'll never get FAF 2.0 out the door. Anyways, you're usually a great tester, I'm not blaming you much.

Actually, part of it is that I don't have the time, part of it is that it's Slasher and Gondor, dominating their usual way. Masivly huge clan, kill anyone who tries to take you down. I had one account killed for just being there.

Oh cripe. I'm fairly sure I mentioned this before...

It isn't a dev bug, it's an overall bug. Been around since the new news system. I'm sure I told you about it...

Oh well. If I remember correctly, aid has some problems too. I KNOW that wolf mentioned it in his review topic...

I dunno, the old code seems sane at a white-box glance...?

Ooh, I think the aid bug suffered from the same problem as troop loss condensation. Maybe that fix would have spiffied up aid?

One thing I have noticed is that attacks tend not to be condensed all the time. Sometimes consecutive attacks will be shown as one (always when using F5/Ctrl/Cmd-R), sometimes seperately. What's with that?

And I'm pretty sure I mentioned this one somewhere else as well. :P

It's that other news slip in... it's to make sure behavior is quite consecutive.

Ah, but that is for consecutive attacks with no other news interruptions...

For sure... It is a very strange one - I'd just assumed that the condensation window was tiny.

Ooh, no, I didn't. You think the timestamps may be off or something?

If they pull that, let loose an admin NUKE their way. Dev is for testing, not for killing off accounts and general mayhem.
