Make the game automatically send an e-mail to you when you have a new message in game. Add something in manage to turn it off aswell.

Maybe not an email, but a forum PM instead? Some people check the forums, but don't always check their accounts...

I just realised that if you get a PM on the forums from it you get an e-mail anyway.

Not always. Email notification of PMs can be turned on or off at your pleasure. I have it off...
