I've just realized there is a good reason people can't bend spoons with their minds. We all accept an objective external reality. However, if there is someone who can bend spoons by thought and those who can't bend them can observe it, then the two classes accept different objective external realities. At that point, there are two possibilities: either the person who can bend spoons by thought is hallucinating everyone else, or there are two objective external realities. Since we who can't bend spoons know observe a person bending spoons, and since we think, we exist, the former can't be true. Thus either there are two external objective realities, or all of us are hallucinating the spoon-bending. In either case, there is a consensual hallucination of two or more existing entities, i.e. the external reality we accept cannot be true, but is a dream, sort of like The Matrix. To sum up: if there are really people with "paranormal" abilities, then that proves we are all in some kind of matrix.
