Oooh, neat. Is that the new file manager? It reminds me vaguely of Finder on my friend's OS X.
I rather like the new look. I can only hope that KDE 4 has a similarly redesigned file manager, although I love Konqueror as a browser.

I just wish graphical file managers could somehow reflect the /power/ you get in a GNU system. You can do all sorts of nice things, but MS' shell gives you more "apparent" power. Case in point: MS Explorer* lets you right click a number of images and resize them. You and I know that convert does that, but not the average user.
A flexible plugin system would do it, really. Does Konqueror support that kind of thing?
P.S. Go Rhythmbox!
[edit] In all fairness, I should mention that I found that out through a techie friend of mine, whose housewarming party I attended. He's dual-computer, Windows and Fedora.

I just use gimp to resize images... havnt a clue about konqueror
though it does have a rather nice 'photobook' for looking through folder of pictures
Hobbs FTW!
Heard of the KPart architecture? I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but Konqueror is VERY extensible. The default install I have has a KPart that can pop up a Terminal Emulator within my browser. I can also do this is KAte (K Advanced Text Editor). It really depends what KParts you have on your system, I guess.
KPart is a really cool idea, though. I like the fact you can reuse applications within others.

Here we go, terminal within Konqueror.
(Although you do have to use ^H to backspace, as the usual back button is reserved for Konq's own use. Minor inconvenience, though.)
(Also, it comes up quite fast. And has scrollbar!)
