Our beloved bot, Philip, is now a permanent member of the FAF global chat. You can contact him just like you would on the forums, by saying his name. If you just want to hold a conversation with him, click his name to private message him (and click it again when you are done): that way you won't have to keep typing his name.

How would he correlate you? He identifies based on a numeric ID, not a name.

Fixed. It was the same type of issue -- multiple invocations broke it. There was a global $url variable, and the silly invbot code did:
$url = $url . "?id=...."

So it got overwritten each time. Fixed as I said.

*laughs*, I like the bot, it's funny, along with all the replies it has and stuff, but my name isn;t Undefined, and he won't learn otherwise :blink:

You just have to say to him "My name is Blah" or "Philip, my name is Blah".

The issue that he kept using the same smilie also fixed. The issue again the same -- it was only computed once.
