These are from my vacation to Lake Powell 5/2006. I have no pics of me wakeboarding since I jacked my knee about 30 seconds into my first wakeboarding run of the trip. I did get one lengthy Manta Ray run in, but we didn't have a camera on the boat for that.
EDIT: The Manta Ray is a towable watercraft that flies. Basically you hook it up to the boat, drive really fast into the wind, and shift your weight to the back of it (raising the front) and it takes off. On a decent day you can get a 200+ lb rider 10-15 feet in the air. It can stay airborn indefinately.

Side view of the boat. It's a Malibu Wakesetter for those that care.

Can you hear me now? Good.

I think that's my sister's brother in law.

My sister's husband. For a fat guy he doesn't do too terrible.

Hard to tell who this is, but there's a nice backdrop.

Lake Powell's sunset.

Me making room for more beer. Apparantly someone has an obsession with that because there's about 6 different pictures of me doing that on this camera.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.

The Kraken, which is found primarily in Scandinavian myth, was a huge sea creature. It was said to lie at the bottom of the sea for a long time and then it would rest at the surface....Like the Midgard serpent in the Norse myths, the Kraken was supposed to rise to the surface at the end of the world.
