Rudder invited me to participate in a war. Since FEE died I figure I shall stay here for good. I look forward to making new friends. For the time being however, hello there Urran Voh, Nuclear Raunch and Rudder.

Haha, quick OT personal yarn here.maddog wrote: welcome to FAF choccobo just hope this will be your final fantasy![]()

When me and my cousin (Apollo in forums) were youngsters he wanted to buy Final Fantasy for the NES but didn't know where to find a copy since everyone had stopped selling NES in favor of SNES. I looked up the number for a local used game dealer for him and handed him the phone.
He makes the phone call, asks if they have Final Fantasy for Nintendo, got a confused look on his face for a moment, then he couldn't hang up fast enough. Meanwhile I'm laughing so hard my cheeks and stomach muscles were cramping up. Apparantly I had "accidentally" gave him the number for an adult bookstore. Oops
Funny enough anyway, but he was a sheltered 12 year old that had never even seen a naked woman so it was really uncomfortable for him.
But I'll set aside my perverse sense of humor just long enuff to welcome CK.
OT #2: Beat my first or second Zerg attempt on Bloodbath was against 2 terran and a toss. Terran to my right got lurker crawled, terran on the left got a Cstat and turrets in time so I just left lurks in the middle. He would send the occasional rine to help the other Terran and every time he would get hit with a lurker and they would autoscan. When they ran out of mana for the Cstat I flew 2 lurks to their CC and killed the Cstat.
So from there the terran on the right was eradicated by lurker crawl, terran on left had no CC or scvs but his defenses were still intact, so it was essentially a 1v1 with the toss across from me. Zergling with adrenal glands and a defiler for support mopped up nicely. A few frantic moments early while my fledgling lurker army was overmatched but overall not too bad.
I know the voices in my head arn't real but they usually have some pretty good ideas.

Freenhult, is it possible for you to delete my old account and then add the t to my new screen name? Also thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Nuke you seriously beat 1 on 3 in Blood Bath on your first try using Zerg... Thats really good. Do you happen to know if the online AI is slightly smarter and more skilled than the single player AI? I have a hunch they are...

First or second with zerg, but it wasn't as good as it sounds though. It was essentially the same as my toss game with the exception of subbing DT's with lurks, and zerg is also my primary race. Plus it was probably the easiest enemy combo for me to play against with that strat. Had it been 2 zerg and a toss instead of 2 terran and a toss I'm sure I would have gotten smoked.ChocoboKnight777 wrote: Nuke you seriously beat 1 on 3 in Blood Bath on your first try using Zerg... I know the offline version uses "custom AI" by default and I think online does too but it may use the "insane AI" script. No time now but I'll check later. I haven't really looked at the AI scripting in a while anyway, I need to.
After I beat them with Terran I'm gonna go back and manually set it to 1 enemy of each race and try again, and if successful I'll set it to what I think is the hardest enemy combo and try again.
EDIT: If you can't lurker crawl one might be able to rush lurks for defense and they might buy you enough time to set up a spore wall with sunkens/lurks behind it. From there you can probably get away with air over the side. Hit and run on one side, then send em over to the other to hit the other enemy. Expensive, but as long as you micro, use some magic, and there's no HT you can probably keep your losses to a minimum.
The one saving grace about the map is they are limited on their cash too, so if necessary you could grind em out, although that's gonna be a pain.
