A profile of large enough size with enough media resources will often stall a browser trying to load it, cause instability and crashing, and be very annoying when it finally does load. Someone try looking up Slasher's profile. 30 seconds of loading on a decent DSL during good times. Not particularly safe, and makes it a bit more difficult to look up recent attacks.

Consensus on this is ditto for messages - if the user is a big twat, we will intervene, but they're free otherwise.
