I'm reinstalling wine right now, actually. Uninstalled it for some weird reason.
Maybe dosbox or something? There's got to be a way, short of win98/vmware, to run old dos games...

Ok, the solution is really simple.
1) Install freedos, dosemu, and all dependencies.
2) Run xdosemu.
3) Move the files into a directory in ~/freedos, assuming you "installed" freedos there.
4) cd into the directory and RUN!

No prob. You do need to run xdosbox from the terminal - don't think I specified that.
This is a difficult game!
But fun!

I didn't see any packages labeled 'freedos' in Yast...
[edit] I will say this for Windows, they have great binary compatibility backwards. I launched that 16-year old binary on a WinXP system yesterday and it worked without a hitch, requiring absolutely no user effort. No doubt that will remain true with Longhorn as well.

Is there a secret to developing nukes? It always tells me two months, but it takes a lot longer.
After I managed to hold off the Egyptian lines for 7 months, they nuked me. Egypt was mean.
