IF this is a problem for you Shadow, then I suggest you correct the issue before someone complains and documents it. Otherwise if you're not doing it and no one else is, its not really a problem.

For the most part, yes. You're clanned for a reason. Take the good and bad that comes with it. If we see land passing in a clan, that clan will suffer penalties. So I'd suggest stoping now.

And I don't know where you've been that the admins don't enforce things, but thats not the way it is here. If common sense rules are being broken and players are complaining with good cause, we -will- do something. We usually don't intervene because we feel our players can work things out. However, if there is a problem we can and will step in.

Thanks, Freen. A matter of 20k acres is nothing compared to what I have seen on other servers. As you well know any problem will get out of hand when you (as admin) let it. Just trying to keep things fair.

Here is a different idea. (I have not seen it before anyway). Is it possible to allow a limited amount of unused land to be aided to allies? This would eliminate the reason for clan-hopping and allow for the strategic applications of giving land to allies.

how is that common sense? Clan hopping is annoying, but it is also very effective. If it against the rules, I suggest posting that somewhere, otherwise it is just arbitrary admin intevention on fuzzily defined grounds.

No I was going to say something similar lol. We won't use it anymore. The only reason I am even arguing this is beacuse people jumped right to threatening rulebreaking on something that isn't a rule anywhere I have seen on this site.

lol the rules are enforced by the players there though... they just complain until an admin decides wat to do, but of course they all abuse it until they are losing than they will start complaining

yeah, rwl has been trying to code out clan hopping for a while, and most people assume it is illegal there in the meantime. And to point out the obvious ones, this site has them too... no multiing, etc.

Admin actions are usually carried out when there is a breach of the rules, not when an admin feels like a player is being unethical...
